The Baja Oasis was created in the late 1900s by Dr. Dave Parsons. He was a retired doctor, lawyer, and chef who came to this secret river paradise and fell in love with its peacefulness. He later built the lodge big enough to house his entire family so that he would no longer have to travel back to the U.S. After he passed, his family started looking for someone who would continue the legacy and share the magical retreat with others. Justin and his family took one look at the property and knew they could share the lodge with their off-road community. Justin had fallen in love with the combination of perfect glass water skiing and endless off-road opportunities years before and was looking for a place big enough to bring all his friends over on motorcycles. They made a deal, and the place has been home to many off-road events ever since.
